Before you schedule your appointment:
Do not sign or date the document
All signers and any witness must be present for the notarization.
Make sure to bring acceptable ID as require by the state along with all pages of document being notarized.

What to Expect in your appointment
Leena Heiman will first verify your identity and determine that you are willingly signing the document.
Criteria for notarization:
Leena will refuse to notarize a document if the requirements for notarization are not met.
The signer fails to personally appear
The signer doesn't provide proper ID
If Leena believes that the person in the ID is not the same person.
Leena will not certify a copy of a publicly recorded document or a vital record.
Leena will only notarize documents in the language she understand. English, Spanish or Italian.
Leena will not notarize if suspect the principal has been coerced into signing.
Leena will not notarize if the principal is intoxicated, confused or does not appear to understand the contests of the document and the consequences of executing it.
